McClellan Completes Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program
InterChez is excited to announce that Cassie McClelland has successfully completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is part of a nationwide investment to help small businesses create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to business education, financial capital, and business support services. The program is based on the broadly held view of leading experts that greater access to this combination of education, capital and support services best addresses barriers to growth. 10,000 Small Businesses is funded by Goldman Sachs and The Goldman Sachs Foundation.
This elite program came to Cleveland in May, 2012 with the support of Cuyahoga Community College and four regional economic development organizations, including the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, COSE, JumpStart and the Urban League of Greater Cleveland. The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program included practical business and management education over an intensive 12-week curriculum.
The graduation ceremony will be attended by Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, U.S. Senator Rob Portman, and Goldman Sachs President and Chief Operating Officer Gary Cohn as well as several other special guests and various media outlets.
InterChez is proud of Cassie and InterChez Global Services for winning one of the 36 coveted scholarships to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and for successfully completing the 12-week program!
